I’m Makayla Lambert, the main editor and creative director behind AsteriLens. I’m a photographer, videographer, and editor based in Austin, Texas.

Over the past several years, I’ve sharpened my craft through hands-on experience in graphic design, filmmaking, and an event management and Creative career development internship at Austin Film Society. I have also collaborated with PBS on coverage related to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies during the height of school board debates in 2021. My work has spanned a wide range of formats, including live events, portraiture, and editorial-style shoots. These experiences have allowed me to balance technical skill with storytelling, creating visuals that communicate both immediacy and depth.

I have a unique perspective on both sides of the camera, helping me guide clients with ease and capture them at their best. I handle every project from start to finish, overseeing planning, shooting, editing, and creative direction, ensuring that every detail reflects my vision and care.
