Hello! My name is Mak Lambert, and I’m the founder and creative director of AsteriLens, based in Austin, Texas.

My work explores Austin culture and creative individuals through visual storytelling. I built my technical skills through hands-on production experience and an internship with the Austin Film Society, alongside my education at Austin Community College, where I graduated with an Associate of General Studies. These experiences gave me a strong foundation in photography and filmmaking.

I’m especially drawn to fashion portraiture and conceptual work that allows me to create distinctive visual worlds. I oversee the entire creative process from initial concept and production through post-production to create timeless, high-quality work.

Alongside my creative and editorial work, I provide accessible photography and videography for local events, small businesses, and independent creatives throughout Austin. Quality visual work should be approachable, and I work to create professional, memorable imagery at rates that work for growing businesses and creatives.
